Armed with more enthusiasm than skill, two self-appointed neighborhood vigilantes hatch a plan to lure a string of local burglars into a “bait house.” But when a pair of unpredictable crooks stumble into their trap instead, the night devolves into a ridiculous battle of egos, escalating blunders, and slapstick chaos. A fast-paced crime-comedy about misplaced confidence and the fine art of making a bad situation worse.

Misael Abednego
Misael Abednego is a filmmaker, director, and visual storyteller based in San Antonio, Texas, with a passion for creating work that blends cinematic imagery, character-driven storytelling, humor, and the unexpected.
A graduate of The Los Angeles Film School with a B.S. in Digital Filmmaking, Misael has developed his craft across directing, cinematography, photography, editing, and production. His narrative work includes the short films Bait House and Correction, projects that helped shape his voice as a filmmaker while giving him hands-on experience taking stories from concept through production and post.
His approach is rooted in story first. Whether directing a narrative film, creating a promotional piece for a business, capturing a live performance, or producing digital content, Misael looks for the human element that makes an image worth remembering.
Now expanding his independent production and creative services, he works with artists, businesses, performers, entrepreneurs, and fellow creatives to produce photography and video that feels intentional, cinematic, and distinctly theirs.
Alongside his client work, Misael continues developing original films and digital projects with the long-term goal of building a body of work that can move freely between independent filmmaking, commercial production, and larger-scale narrative storytelling.
Based in San Antonio and available for projects throughout Texas and beyond.
